Aeroméxico is the flag carrier of Mexico, based in Mexico City, and is a holding company that provides commercial aviation services. It is a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance and operates a large domestic and international network from its main hub at Mexico City International Airport, with secondary hubs in Guadalajara and Monterrey. Aeroméxico is owned by a group of investors, Apollo Global Management, and Delta Air Lines.
Grupo Aeroméxico is planning an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to raise capital and return to public markets after its 2022 bankruptcy emergence. The company aims to value itself at up to $2.9 billion, with a price range of $18 to $20 per American Depositary Share (ADS), and expects to raise approximately $234.5 to $290 million through the offering. The IPO is being managed by a group of underwriters and is expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol AERO, with a concurrent private placement from PAR Investment Partners also occurring.
